A poem about the Fox Sister's

In a quiet town, in a long ago day,

Lived the Fox sisters, with a gift on display,

For they could hear, from beyond the veil,

Voices of the dead, a message to unveil.

Their gift was strange, and their words perplexed,

But they spoke with conviction, and their faith was un-flecked,

As they listened and relayed, the messages received,

Their power grew, and their fame achieved.

Through séances and gatherings, they spread their word,

As people listened, with their minds and hearts stirred,

For in the Fox sisters, they saw a hope,

A connection to the beyond, a spiritual scope.

But with fame came scepticism, and accusations too,

Of fraud and deception, and trickery to pursue,

Their gift was questioned, and their reputation marred,

As doubts and suspicions, grew ever more hard.

But still they stood, with their truth and their light,

For they knew their gift, was a guiding sight,

A connection to the other side, that held true,

A testament to the power, of the spiritual view.

So let us remember, the Fox sisters’ gift,

And the impact they made, in a world so swift,

For their legacy lives on, in the spirit of belief,

A beacon of hope, in a world that can be brief.

This was the Fox sister’s home

“Emma Hardinge wrote that the war added two million new believers to Spiritualism. If the war stirred even one friend or family member of each dead or wounded soldier to think about spirit communication, it’s hardly surprising that interest grew. Over the next quarter century, estimates of the numbers of Spiritualists in the United States would range from one million to a highly inflated eleven million. Even the lower figure, however, took into account those who sympathized with the movement as well as those who identified themselves as committed Spiritualists.” ― Barbara Weisberg, Talking to the Dead

My mission is to serve spirit by delivering its messages of love, healing, and compassion to those who need it most, while providing evidence of the survival of consciousness. Through my work, I strive to bring joy where there was once sorrow, hope where there was once despair, love where there was once emptiness, and light where there was once darkness.
